Taking screenshots for HOL
Before the FAQ gets an update, a short HowTo about taking screenshots for use on HOL. Again we had a contribution that wasn't usable because of missing pixel information due to a bad filter setting in WinUAE
![]() The easiest way to prevent any problems is to use FS-UAE, as it will by default save three versions of the screenshot: (1) The full overscanned / uncropped amiga video frame without any filters or scaling applied (2) Same as (1), but cropped according to the current zoom setting (3) A screenshot in the classic sense, exactly what you see on screen with all filters applied The first kind is optimal for processing. Just upload the screenshots with '_full' in the filename. When you're using WinUAE, tick the 'before filtering' checkbox on the output panel. I hope this short post will help to increase the number of usable screenshots in the future ![]() Last edited by TCD; 05 September 2013 at 12:18. |

Or simply tick "before filtering" checkbox in output panel.
