Amiga Floppy Art

I saw an example of Nick Gentry's art in The Telegraph today:

http://www.nickgentry.co.uk

Look closely and you can see some Amiga floppy disks; Battle Cars II, PGA Tour Golf, Workbench v1.3 Extras...

On the website I can also see Beneath A Steel Sky, Skidmarks II, Premier Manager, Bomb'X and Ghostbusters II.

Cool, perhaps this one will get a place next to the Mona Lisa at the Louvre.

that's a great idea! but i fail to see the link between the support choice (the computer disks) and the images painted, too generic, imho.
however, he's a good painter.

nice I used to super glue my dead floppy's together and make storage boxes which would hold a few floppy disks

"(One bit) better than the rest." I think it is

I think I have a pirate copy of PGA Tour Golf that looks identical to that disk. That's spooky. Maybe Amiga disks just look alike. Or maybe we got them from the same place?
