and i repeat always, but for who like interface easy to use from Windows there is GameGase Amiga where you can play games in ADF format, IPF with original code protections and WHDLoad games.
Kickstart you use your personal kickstart maybe bought with AmigaForever and be happy.

I would say FS-UAE would have been more relevant

i thought the only thing its useful for is the included roms?, the emulation side of things is a quick/simple free download.

Yup, same here, only purchased once for the roms, was worth it for that alone.

The emulation side, not so much, well actually not at all. I think an old version (perhaps newer ones to) included Amikit and that is my mainstay for PC Amiga Emulation, courtesy of WinUAE of course.

It does seem extraordinary the level of support shown for Cloanto, a company that has probably benefited the most financially from Amiga all these years, but ironically contributed back the very least to the community in terms of active development.

The real people deserving respect are the hardware and software developers that actually sat down one day and decided to take a *risk* by developing something new, pay coders etc, whether that was ELBOX who developed the Mediator line and even still do the odd production run today, Jen's Schoenfeld who needs no introduction and has taken on Picasso 96 development in recent years, Ibrowse team, Roadshow, WHDLoad, Michael Böhmer, A-Eon, Lukas Hartmann's ZZ lineup, Warp team, Apollo computers team, the AmiDev Team who do Amifox, Amitube, and more for free, everyone I haven't mentioned, etc, etc, etc.

I just hope if Cloanto/Amiga assume uncontested development rights over AmigaOS they will actually do something seemingly against their nature and actually do something with it, not just integrate AmigaOS 3.2 into Amiga Forever and design some fancy new packaging, do a licensing deal with AmiKit, and spend the next two decades or so expecting the same wheelbarrows of cash from AmigaForever fans who seem to think paying for crusty old ROMS somehow helps support our platform.

I don´t know what to do, because my Cloanto Amiga Forever works well, but in other hand I am thinking about buy one registered version.

Any help? What Do You think? (Don´t be mad at me, please)

I bought the full monty version because the DVDs include some great Amiga nuggets. I use it so much that I upgraded to the Lifetime subscription.

The initial purchase included the download version so I was able to get up and running right away.

Why is it important to you what is legal and what will you do if you find out that Amiga Forever is illegal?

I prefer businesses that operates in legality, I prefer businesses where developers are paid, because that's how businesses should run, I have no faith in a business that to survive needs to work in such a way. What are you paying for anyhow? If I found out around 30 years down the line that Amiga Forever is illegal? What kind of a question is that? If I found out the owners of Amiga are selling illegal licenses of their own software? Does it even make sense?

I'll put it very clearly, it seems some doesn't see worth on Cloanto, yet it was Cloanto who deemed Amiga worthy to actually buy. It seems some see kickstart as free software but never helped AROS become stronger and actually free of all this bagage, if you had you would have by now a solution which you could use at your will, WinUAE could be presented as a full package. It seem you don't think Amiga is worth it's value.

developing on Amiga should be a passion and made in free time and so free working. They have their regolar job to survive, but when working on Amiga it should be for theyself fun and for the community.
