And why I can't get the rom detected? I renamed the .u4 and u5 to bin but winuae seems to not like it.

Tierras Salvajes was not supported until yesterday. (and it still isn't fully supported).

I just been testing winuae update(17/06/24 21:02) and now it detect the rom, as you said.
The aiming for me is ok. But something strange with the reload. It seems only reload on video segment change. Maybe it was this way in the real game?

Reload (Holster) fixed. Also uses "alternate" IO port compared to any other Picmatic game.

Does 2 player mode work? I am not really sure how calibration screen is supposed to behave when both guns are enabled.

EDIT: Player 1/2 gun selection should work now. (Again, different way than in other Picmatic games..)

In calibration screen, you press 2, and you can shoot any of the guns to align the aiming. Next you can press 2 again and calibrate the other.
Triggers work as they should, but the aiming of both guns seems to use "Lightpen H/V", whereas one of them should use "Dual lightpen H/V"
On the other hand, it's strange, because most of the videos appear to play/stop when they have to, but some seems to link to incorrect ones (like the scene with the cannon balls, or the scene where you have to shoot to a cigar, at the very beggining)

First, many thanks for this, Toni. I think its amazing to be able to play these games, and once fine tuned, they work really well in Winuae.
Yes, now the aiming of each gun works independently, juat tested with real crt guns. But they have like 1/3 the sensibility compared to Los justicieros or Marbella vice. So when I calibrate if I shoot to bottom border I shoot at 2/3 from the bottomborder of screen.
I can adjust this myself with my gun driver config, but may be a problem for others using modern guns, I dont know.
Bear i mind I'm using lowres maybe this have some influence.

Yes, non-double mode was the reason (always change SINGLE option, one by one, until something happens, don't change everything and then say it does not work..)

I think there is an "stop" that don't work, I mean:
In the video file, in 00:56, there shows a frame (some wooden targets) that seems the game have to stop there for a time or until an event, but it continues. Same just later with the cannon balls.
In the log I get:
LD: frame 1410
LD: Mark Return 1436
LD: Repeat complete
LD: frame 1442

EDIT: No need for statefile, it happens almost immediately after starting the game (please, mention this next time!)

Attach statefile before "mark return" is logged. (must have config that matches best compatible A500 quickstart + ALG/Picmatic LD enabled)

Make sure the statefile works before attaching. Note that you must load config file before loading statefile.

Fixed missing pause state after repeat completes.

I didn't notice this earlier because all previous Picmatic games immediately sent new seek/play command when game software got "repeat complete" message from LD player.

Yes, now works (at least the beggining, I have not played it all yet)
What do you mean by the statefile? I get the info from a command window using "winuae.exe -log -ldlog 2"

Just tested with guns, and the y axis now is fine, but x axis have the same problem as before, in both guns.
Bear in mind I use low res single line 256p

Ah, it also affected both vertical and horizontal.. Will be fixed later today.

btw, why do you need to use lores? (Video converter problem?) Yes, Amiga resolution is lores but video resolution is higher (at least in theory) than Amiga lores.

I use a 15khz crt, so cannot get progressive resolutions more than 288p
So I use 240p for ntsc ALG games and 256p for pal Picmatic ones, and looks perfect
I can display higher resolutions, but interlaced, which vitrates a lot in this screen.

Horizontal is now fixed if it is not hires (lores or shres).

Yes but I meant horizontal, it should be possible to have 640 horizontal resolution in UAE that creates final output that has same size display as 320x256 but horizontally has more tightly packed pixels. (At least better than 320 but not as sharp as full 640)

You have reason, I do in other games or emulators, but not in Winuae, don't remember if I tried.
