Thank you for reporting this problem. It's corrected but there's a subtlety.
Don't confuse country (XX) and language (xx)!
For example:
Poland > (PL)
polish > (pl)


and now the trap:
Czech Republic > (CZ)
czech > (cs)


For historical reasons, unlike commercial games, public domain games only have language indications, not country ones.
There are, for example, a number of games that are only released in Germany, but which are in english, resulting in a strange (DE)(en)

For Overlord (1991)(Virgin Mastertronic)(US)(Disk 2 of 2), this is from the [cr CLS - RZR] release as the TOSEC ADF matches my disk transfer.

Unfortunately, the Rorn win sequence has a graphics glitch:


The lose sequence has audio corruption as well.

It's a real shame, especially as I don't know of any new copies of this disk that I've checked recently :

This can happen when a duplication goes wrong. If the input sectors cannot be read (read error), the buffer will not be overwritten with new data and the destination sectors will contain data from previously read sectors.

I am curious about my Overlord original disks if it contains the end sequence. Between that and a couple of RAW sets from Abaddon, I am curious about their states.

Demoniac, the problem is that your dump is very dirty :/

And some files are common with the Euro release, but some others are specific to the American release.

thanks for your suggestions, I've already applied some of them, but don't forget to look at converting special characters to ASCII.

Hi Crashdisk, sorry for Total Recall, but no, unfortunately, they failed their fix.
what happened is that they did not push the copylock key at address $60.s, which is mandatory, otherwise, the vehicules and boss tank in the driving sections are invulnerable.

I have reworked their fix to be exactly as how the original operates regarding the copylock key (pushed in 3 different places, not 2 like in Angel/Defjam Fix!).

Can you retest the patched version of A/D?
I did it on my side and what you describe is true for the initial crack, the vehicles are invulnerable, but the crack with patch works well on my side even if I'm too lame to go to the end of level 2.
Why not on your side? How do you test the game? Do you activate cheats?
