I'd be interested too in one, for sure, if they can get to my door intact.
... Tommy as it states "made in Germany" I think it's a good idea to see a German layout... The job is awesome, indeed! So will the outside of the box be flat or semi-gloss like A1200's?? ... Next step I wonder what it'd take to make A600's boxes in the same style... I have few so I can help but all have issues... Would be so cool to have a replacement solution with same design / finish for A500 - A600.... and A1200 ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Last edited by prowler; 18 January 2017 at 23:09. Thanks for your reply. When will you get your boxes printed? Any other design work in progress or all ready to go?

I checked three boxes. One had no illustration at all, the other two had US keyboards. One had a sticker about the included "First steps" program. I also noted that the cover photo/illustration was not full colour, but duplex colour. |

I bet on European version - I've german (central-Europe) keyboard layout model, so I can say I met with these versions before. As This is a full repro, I tried to be authentic just as it possible, but a small enhance on the picture quality was performed, oc. Today I met with the manufacturing company employee because of the poly reproducement. Originally we talked about an industrial white sponge material but at the end, it can be that we'll make the holders from cardboard as well. Not sure, waiting for the final qoute and will decide then. |

Boxes will be printed soon, including the small inlay box. The holder material is still a question.

Update: after a few revisions (we played a lot with different materials and manufacturing options to find the finest replacement) this is the 1.0 version of the A500 "holder" inlay. This is a multi-layered, machine-cutted cardboard holder which is a lightweight and flexible construction but keeps the A500 in his place perfectly.
Now, we're performing a final tune-up on this version to start manufacturing the full box set. |
