A new frontier?

This 22-year-old builds chips in his parents’ garage

Despite he is still far from useful chips and is using mostly old chipmakers' tools, it seems a new field where DIY can reach some motion - not at levels of doing your multicore of course but i can envision in a middle term future remakes of old 8/16 bit computer chips - include hopefully Amiga chipset ones ^^
