WinUAE + AmiExpress

Hi I run AmiExpress BBS in AmikitX v10.5.2 with OS 4.1FE and WinUAE 4.0.
After upgrading to WinUAE 4.1 the BBS will not initialize the nodes when I startup.
Internet works fine but the BBS stopped to work. So I had to rollback to winuae 4.0 again.
Anyone who have a clue about what the problem can be?

Strange, but we have different OS.
I winuae 3.5 before i upgraded to 4.1. Then i tried 4.0 and it worked with that version.

No one can guess without more information. Config file and winuaelog.txt from both versions.

(EDIT: Tick logging option in misc panel before starting emulation.)

It is not a problem of WinUAE 4.1.0 nor of the type of Operating System, to me it works on all the tested OS including AmikiX, I think you have some problems in some settings.

Hi, I have not changed any settings, the only thing I did was to replace the winuae.exe file. I'll create some log files as soon I can.

Which does not really help, it only hides the possible problem..

EDIT: Every problem should be properly examined and real reason should be found. Any other "solution" is unacceptable.

Hi, I have now created the log files.
winuae_40.zip is the working version
winuae_41.zip is the non working version.
Attached Files
File Type: zip winuae_40.zip (15.0 KB, 79 views)
File Type: zip winuae_41.zip (15.5 KB, 90 views)

Try without "Add PC drives at startup". It seems if same PC drive (root directory) is mapped manually and also with "Add PC drives", drive may be mounted twice.

btw, You mentioned OS 4.1 but there is nothing about PPC in the logs.

Thanks Toni, superb support! Without "add pc drives at startup" it works,

About the OS 4.1, I bought AmikitX together with OS41 and the installation of AmikitX created the winuae configuration files so that is maybe why there is nothing about PPC.
