Subpixel display emulation

Hello all,


What is exactly the role of this new option and do you have any examples of its use please ? Thank you.

Seriously, it is mainly useful for development and testing (exact same output in real hardware and in emulation) It isn't really visible without magnifying glass

OCS/ECS can only scroll horizontally in lores resolution. If resolution is hires, minimum scroll amount is 2 hires pixels (=1 lores pixel).

AGA introduced "subpixel" scrolling, minimum scroll amount increased, it is always 1 superhires pixel.

For example Fire & Ice bottom section's "wave" effect uses subpixel scrolling. (lores screen but hires scrolling)
