Long time away !

Hello fellow Amigans , I've been away for a while.
I tried playing Amiga games using Retro Pi but I gave up trying to get a launcher to work , so had to restart Workbench and select floppy images every time I wanted to play a game.
I managed to get Sega and Nintendo to work fine , but my patience isn't what it once was !

Has anyone written an Idiots guide to Amiga games in RetroPi ?

Other option is to dig out my trusty old A1200 and hope it still works.
I had a PCMCIA to Compact Flash ? , plug into USB adaptor , download WHDload games , then transfer to Amiga and go.
Am I right that WHDload is now free ?

Or I see the Gotek adaptors seem to be popular now , does this replace DF0 ?

Another question , where can I get a new floppy compatible with external drive ?

Yet another question , I'm in Poole Dorset UK , is there anyone I could send my A4000 to for repair , usual Ni-Cad leak took out memory lines

Final question !
I've got a few genuine Commodore workshop manuals , are they worth anything , I don't want millions , but where to sell them ?
I did remember Amibay and I looked , but got confused as to the correct way to do things !

Background refresh , had an A500 in about 88 , still have it somewhere , also got A1500 , CDTV , A1200 and ill A4000 !

Phew ..

Bebek lives in Poole. He does repairs still I think.
I bought an modified A4000 (without CPU board) from him last year.
