WinUAE Crashes (Attached DMP and CFG file)

Hello everyone. WinUAE is crashing when I try to do the following:

I mount my Amiga 1200 HD on the emulator (DH0 with classic workbench already installed).

Then, I add a Windows folder with all WHDLoad games, as DH1.

I run DOpus then I try to copy the games from DH1 to DH0 and WinUAE crashes and displays this message: "Crash detected, minidump saved ...".

It's weird, because I've done this process before with no problems. How can I fix it?. I'm using the last version of WinUAE.

Help please!

Thank you very much.

JIT is enabled, it makes useless dump files. Disable it and try again.

Which is very good because it means it isn't JIT side-effect (which are near impossible to debug).

Please attach new dump file (with JIT disabled).

Unfortunately it didn't help much. Something corrupts memory.
This needs more debugging.

Dump file embedded winuaebootlog.txt looks suspicious, it has 11 "ChipsBnk SD/MMCReader 4081" open attempts but config (which looks fine) shows only one mount line. Do you have any other card reader for testing? (Or maybe it has bad connection?)

Run winuae with "-log -logflush" command line parameters or add them as Windows shortcut parameters ("<path>\winuae.exe -log -logflush"), crash it, attach winuaelog.txt.

Does WinUAE 2.6.1 crash too? (just unpack winuae.exe from zip-archive, there is no need to install anything)

Nope. I don't have other card reader, and this issue is happening with some devices: SD card, and two different IDE 2.5 HD.

I'll try testing 2.6.1 version.

Thanks

Check Paths panel for log path, it may not be same as winuae.exe path.
Does it crash if you remove the USB memory card reader? (and boot from some other media, like HDF)

Disable all unnecessary options, still crashing? (At least Misc -> Syncronize clock, Sound -> disable sound, Expansions -> uaescsi.device)

winuaelog.txt is needed, it should be in same directory as winuaebootlog.txt if you used correct command line parameters (note that -logflush is important because without it last few lines of log will be lost when it crashes)

Does http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae.zip also crash?

If it still crashes and your boot drive is small enough (and does not have anything you don't want to share), could you compress it (7zip usually compressed the best) and email it? (if size is max 5 or so megabytes)

Assuming it only crashes when using your boot drives, not when booting from standard WB disk?

Something causes quite bad memory corruption because "DMA conflict" messages are only logged when DMA debugger is active and it can be only activated by using debugger commands.

You probably need to narrow it down to some command in your startup-sequence or wbstartup.

Last thing I tried today. I made the same copy from the PC folder to Classic workbench System.HDF so, no physical devices are mounted (SD, HD, etc)... Still crashing.

I think I'll give up... :/

Don't give up, please, this bug needs to be to fixed.

Could you create minimal HDF (or even adf) that still crashes with your config and send it as an email attachment to me?
