WHDLoad game speed

Been trying out WHDLoad under E-UEAE today and tried Abandoned Places.

It was noticeable that it ran with stop starts and the sound also stuttered at this point, it is not really that bad but noticable.

I assume this is down to one of two reasons or both in the fact that the original game was not designed to be hard disk installed or that I am using
a directory hard disk file.

When run from floppy it is all OK.

WHDLoad has issues with accelerated systems, but they pertain more to framerate. Any sound problems have to be a fault of E-UAE, because they do't happen in WinUAE or real Amigas.

Could also be your settings. I get these issues in WinUAE when using certain CPU settings.

Have you tried P-UAE? it includes alot of WinUAE updates to the E-UAE.

I did not think there was a downloadable version of P-UAE, just versions that had to be compiled before use.
Also is it usable with Hi-Toro ?

I will try changing the CPU used.
