Lemon Juice vs. Battery Acid

!

I bought a lemon at the grocery store, now what do I do to magically calm down the battery acid development (Amiga PCB) with it? Just press out its juice and pour it onto the PCB?
I don't want to do it completely wrong, even though it looks like an easy procedure.

I used a cotton swab, poured it in the lemon juice and kindly touched the battery crystals until they melt.
I noticed that some of the juice that went on the motherboard slightly decolored it, so I would avoid flooding the PCB :-)

I see small bubbles on the acid crystals, the lemon is eating it!

Thing is, there's a lot of corrosion here, so I poured some on it, using a cutton swab was simply not enough.

EDIT:
This really works! All the corrosion/acid is gone! I see some broken traces, but after a cleanup with isopropanol alcohol (and doing the backside with lemon as well), I'll bridge them.

EDIT2: Just... wow... This is science at its best, now I actually feel hope in fixing this A3000 mobo.

Can you provide a couple of shots of the mobo cleaned with the exposed broken traces? That's out of curiosity, because I'm not able to provide any help about that.

Oh by the way, remember to wash your hands when done ... I scratched my hands for a while before realizing that acid is .... not your skin's best friend :-)
