Lemmings Promo Demo

I know,there exists threads about this,but this threads are old and without
success.
Ok,another try:
WT is looking for Promo Demo of Lemmings,this piece seems to be very rare,
nothing to find in the whole net.
Perhaps it makes sense to request it on EAB.

Info:This was a promotional version of the game with levels dedicated to Commodore. There were 4 or 5 levels and were all based around Commodore logos. C= “Chicken Head”, “Commodore”, and the Amiga ‘A’.

I have a hdd Amiga but not the amount of ram needed as I sold the GVP that was in it.. I need to get some ram or excellerator with ram on...

Stainy,

You've shown that disk off a few times lately and all it's doing is making us Lemms fans jealous!

Does it have many levels and are they different from the released version?

Is it copy protected?

I had a lemmings demo disk - got it by sending in a coupon printed in an issue of ACAR (was also one for Turrican 2 I think). It had a picture of a lemming on it. Sadly the disk was overwritten at some point (prob with a cracked version of lemmings) and I now have no idea where it is

Heheh sorry.. ok fellow Hertfordshire boy.. I`ll load it up tonight..and Ill try getting my catweasel working again see if it can be imaged.

BTW Got a Lemmings 2 promo like this as well...

Or you could send it to Interceptor to get it dumped.

3: Bomboozal
4: If at first you don`t succeed!

Same main screen as the full game.. music in the levels.

If its MFM protected like the original, try using the Rawdic installer from the WHDLoad version, should be able to read the disk and image it so it can have an install or be cracked to ADF.

Can you give me a bit of a breakdown of what I need to do Galahad?

Also.. in your experiance.. would a pre-production sample of a game have copy protection on it?

Yup, quite a lot do mate.

Just use the Lemmings installer as if you were installing Lemmings, instead of putting a game disk in, just put your demo disk in instead.

yeah this pre production promo... I put it in on workbench and it has a label, there`s a trashcan on there..it says it`s 835k free..

Scrub that! thought I was onto something.. an original Player Manager does the same
