Need help gettin started

Wanna be able to play Bloodwych on windows xp home premium
Managed to dl the game and an emulater but when I try and run it it says full screen mode not allowed or something......
Can any1 help would love to play this game again!

Probably going to need some more information like which emulator are you using?

I use WinUAE and have never had any problems in either WinXP Home or Professional.

Also, since you said "premium" did you mean in Windows Vista? I thought XP only came in Home or Professional with no "premium", "basic", etc. Vista, however, does have those.

I have Vista home premium. I have dl winUAE it is saying I need a system ROM....

Okay have dl rom now when I run UAE the screen with the hand and disk comes up how do I run the games?

Well from the GUI you want to go to "floppy drives", and "insert" the disk (ADF file) you want to load into DF0:. And then start the emulation and the game should load automatically.

I've tried that think the problem is the copy of Bloodwych I have isn't an ADF format? Its an exe file do I have to do something to the exe file?

It says the floppy disk image is not bootable (boot block checksum error)

Just download .ADF files from PlanetEmu

Glad your problem got fixed. Also sorry I wasn't able to help more. I wasn't able to get on yesterday (real life was in the way), but glad it is working for you.
