Catweasel And Winuae

Hi, to everyone. I've just got my "CATWEASEL MK4 PCI" for my PC. I've install it. The problem is...is that when I insert a floppy on the drive...my PC doesn't recognise it. But when I click the "IMAGE TOOL" icon that came with the catweasel driver...it does read and write disk. The computer then recognised the floppy. I try to use it with WINUAE still doesn't recognise the disk. I want to use my "real" AMIGA software disks with WINUAE. Can you guys help me. Thank you very much.

catweasel MK4 will be supported in version 1.0...plaese be patient...

You need to know that the current driver of the mkIV doesn´t allow the use of the pc drive in windows, it should be fixed in the next revision. Also the drivers that came shipped with the card are extremely buggy, use the new ones released. Ask jens for emailing to you. If it not work i can send it to you.
Hopefully, the mkIV will be fully supported in latest winuae. I can´t wait!!!!

I thought I would just post to say that I have a catweasel mk4 and although the windows drivers do not yet support pass-through you can use the pass-through feature before the windows drivers is loaded, so you don’t need to disconnected and reconnect the floppy to use it normally most of the time.

So you can use it boot off or load a SCSI or SATA driver form floppy while installing windows.
You can also use it under windows if you go into device manager and disable the “Catweasel controller PCI” device under “IndividualComputers devices” then reboot.

When you are finished using the floppy under windows all you need to do is go back into device manager and re-enable “Catweasel controller PCI” device then you can use it again without rebooting.
