Devious Designs demo - anyone completed it?

The Zero Magazine one, that is.

I'm pretty sure when I last played it yonks ago I managed to get past the second level - but now I haven't a clue as to how to solve it. Is it some kind of painfully obvious solution that my eyes can't pick out or something? Or what?

All help appweeeciated yada yada yada.

Tricky indeed.
You're suppose to place the upper blocks first, starting from one side (let's say from right) using the lower block as help.
Place yerself on the lower right block and pull the upper right block a bit, go on the other upper left block and place the right upper block in the right place along with the right lower block. Repeat with the left side.
Easy.
