"Compute!'s Amiga Resource" coverdisks?

Does anybody have coverdisks from said magazine? It was published for about 12 months in the US (around 1989).

They're not TOSEC'ed yet, and I couldn't find any information (let alone downloads) on the web.

I'm searching for "Advanced Laser Chess" by Mike Duppong which should be on one of them.

Thanks in advance.

I believe I most likely have all of those disks in my collection, but it will probably take some time to find them. Unfortunately, I only have the disks, and no longer have the magazines that they came with. I'll try to locate them and convert them to ADF's over the weekend if somebody else doesn't cough them up first.

UPDATE:

As I thought about it, I seemed to remember the subject of these disks had come up before on the board, and that I had already found and converted the disks once before. I did a quick search and confirmed that via this thread:

http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5726

I may not be able to lay my hands on the disks themselves at a moment's notice, but I did find the adf versions that I dumped, so I've just uploaded those to the Zone. They're in 2 zip files corresponding to Volume 1 and Volume 2 of the magazine. I believe that Volume 1, Issue 1 had no disk, and that Volume 2, Issue 3 was the final issue. I think these 7 disks represent the complete set. If anybody wants to get these added into TOSEC, by all means, go for it!

Thanks a lot!

Our university's library has a complete archive of "Compute!" magazine - if it's still uncertain wether Volume 1, Issue 1 had a coverdisk I could do some research, maybe they were running some advertisement for their Amiga spin-off.

@Korodny

You're welcome, and if you can verify whether or not Volume 1, Issue 1 had an associated disk or not, I'd be interested in knowing. Since I don't have the magazine anymore, all I have to go on is the vague recollection that it didn't, supported by the fact that the disk that goes with Volume 1, Issue 2 has a volume name of Resource1.

@Akira

Are you sure you've never seen these disks before? You must not have followed the link I put in to that old thread, because you're the one that started that thread to begin with. LOL! It looks like I might not be the only one here with a "vague recollection"!

I'm not in the best of situations here, so it's probable that I'm losing my mind. I do NOT remember posting that thread, that's how bad I am. ;P

The mystery over a disk with issue 1 can be put to rest - coverdisks were optionally available from the second issue onwards.

The seven known coverdisks are available from AMR
