Reasonable of you to NOT try with a load of configs, since it would've been a waste of time! This disk is badly broken, I found it in TOSEC!
Skychase spits out 'Error code 121' when trying to load 'loader'. Rick Dangerous - works. Jaws - works too. Pool - doesn't work. I analyzed the disk a bit more and found out the following: 'Pool': the data previously contained between the 48th..56th block as well as the 70th..80th block have been OVERWRITTEN twice with the data between 92nd..102nd data block of the main executable! This file is irreparably lost. TOSEC name should therefore be Games Disk 1 - SkyChase [ b ] & Rick Dangerous & Pool [ b ] & Jaws (1989)(-) -- Found working version on Astronut's Game Disk #23 - in the zone. @all: A standalone version is still welcome, though! Not sure if anyone needs it, but I'm upping a skychase.adf into the zone. It's a collection disk comprising of Major Motion, Cybernoid and Skychase.
The collection is called: "Astronuts Game Disk #23" and Skychase works like a charm....:P |

Another compact has been uploaded to the Zone: Defjam/CCS compact disk no. 10.
Includes Army Moves; Bomb Jack; Computer Scrabble; Quadralien; Skychase; Vectorball; and Whirligig. No idea if it is in TOSEC, but Skychase seems to load ok. |

Nice, nice ... but DDNI seems to have a standalone copy, which would interest me a lot

Does the original IPF of Skychase have anything extra on it at all?

Ok have found the disk out.
It is not part of a compilation with Rick Dangerous, pool and jaws. It is a compilation with Bombjack, scrabble, Skychase, Vertorball, Whirligig and Virus. Is it still of use? I am at work now so cant check it for errors.... I am sure it has some though |

Lots of thanks for this info, Galahad.
I wasn't sure, hence I was reluctant first, but now it's there in the zone: Skychase standalone ADF version. Created from SPS 2612. That's the auto-booting version, while 2610 needs Workbench to run, as the disk is not bootable. |
