CPU usage

Hello...

... when emulating an A500, the CPU utilization is approximately 20% up to version 3.3.0.
From version 3.4.0 the CPU utilization is almost always at 0% with the same config.
In Task Manager, the values for "winuae.exe" and "CPU utilization" are the same for both versions.

What does the CPU display show?

It is ratio emulated frame time (=how long it took to emulate one frame) / real world frame time. It isn't that accurate because emulator's CPU usage can be very bursty, one field might take 1%, next frame 10% and other options can affect it unexpectedly (like vsync).

It is more useful to quickly see if emulation takes too much time (>100%).

Ok, I understand that.
But why does the 3.3.0 ~ 20% and the 3.4.0 ~ 0% indicate? What has changed?

I don't remember.. Perhaps it previously also counted GPU operation (which is usually background operation) or something.

If you feel bored enough, check 3.4 betas (links in beta thread should be still valid) and find the one which changed the behavior and I'll take a closer look.
