601 Baseboard hacking?
Cmplete and utter n00b question here:
Is it possible to hack the 601 BAseboard (or other mem expansion for the A600) to provide any of the following? - 4 Meg Fast RAM - FPU I just wonder, you know.

Fast RAM : yes. You need to sort the addresses using another address decoder and generate new CAS/RAS refresh signals. The data lines are exactly the same.
FPU: not in the trapdoor (no lines). |

its not gonna happen m8, its a whole lot of work with very little gain fdrom something like a PCMCIA Sram card or the Upgrade from LDV |
