I guess you could include the example games made to show off Backbone...
Backbone Tutorial - http://aminet.net/package/dev/misc/Backbone_game1 Micro Fighters - http://aminet.net/package/dev/misc/Backbone_game1 Reality Example - http://aminet.net/package/dev/misc/Backbone_game2 Monkey - http://aminet.net/package/dev/misc/Backbone_game2 Do you have download links to Charly the Merc, Death Is On The Way, Fallout 3, MagicBall, and Szalter On Holiday? I have them on my hard drive but don't know where the original archives are, and can't find any on Aminet even though I thought I grabbed a few of them from there originally. Just a few corrections if you want to make them. Halloween Nightmare should be credited to Underground Arcade since it was a small (short) team effort and Cammy doesn't want to take all the credit. Tuesday, however, I made alone many years before we formed Underground Arcade, but I just slapped the logo on my old game and recompiled it when the Backbone key became free. Here are some download links to my games if you'd like to add them to the list: Tuesday (Best played from RAM Disk) - http://home.exetel.com.au/~amiga/Tuesday.lha Sonic the Hedgehog (Greenhill Zone) - http://home.exetel.com.au/~amiga/Sonic.lha Super Mario Bros (Updated today) - http://home.exetel.com.au/~amiga/SuperMario.lha Thanks for making this thread, we needed all of these games grouped together so fellow Backboners can learn from each others' projects... we all figure out a trick or two when we make them that no one else thought of before! |

Nice!
The example games are now added to the list. Have not played these much so don't know if they are complete or just demo games? I have added them to "finished games for now". Also thanks for the updated links! Don't know from where you can download the games you asking for. I would like to know too so we can link to the them instead of Youtube videos. I know I downloaded Charly the Merc and Death Is On The Way from Back2roots. The other games, i have no idea. |

Have checked out the example games now. I would say these are not completed games or just one level. So moved them down to "Incomplete games".
Another game i know is [ Show youtube player ]. It uses the same character as in the Monkey game, and are made by the same programmer how did Backbone. But still not sure if this is created with BB. Because i see some things you can't do in BB. Like stand on your shots and panel both above and below the screen. |

I found the links to some of those games.
Magic Ball - http://retrokomp.org/pliki/magicballadf.zip Charly the Merc - http://aminet.net/game/shoot/ctm1a.lha Charly the Merc - http://aminet.net/game/shoot/ctm1b.lha Charly the Merc - http://aminet.net/game/shoot/ctm1c.lha Death Is On The Way - http://aminet.net/game/actio/D1.lha Death Is On The Way - http://aminet.net/game/actio/D2.lha I'm pretty sure that Banana Islands game was written in Amos before he wrote Backbone. |

Amiga will never die!
|
Sorry guys, I lost my home a couple of years ago and had to cancel my internet service, so all my files hosted on my ISP's server are gone. What's worse is both my super awesome expanded A1200 and Cammy's super awesome expanded A1200 were stolen during the move. So we have no backups of our work, and have not been able to resume working on our games and other software for over two years now. If anyone out there managed to download any of my games before that, I'd really appreciate if you could upload them to the Zone and we'll find somewhere else to host them.

Thanks mate, the game though is just the one we were working on before our loss. We're hoping to extract the graphics and levels from the game so we can resume work again, but I'm not sure how much we can get out of the files from the compiled version of the game.
