oh, old version you are using - just download latest Winuae beta 17
#1) link changed, was beta 16, now latest beta 17 #2) if you get a blue background screen, when playing a video in genlock mode, this indicates something is wrong with the video or missing windows video codec. K-Lite Codec pack is a good choice to solve the codec problem. Last edited by emufan; 02 December 2016 at 12:20. |

If I got any debug or error message, I'd be happy to share them with him, but alas, it simply crashed while I was selecting a video file, in both b16 and b17, I tried them both. Oh well.

Most likely it is due to buggy codec. (some codec pack etc..). It is quite common.

Will do tomorrow and see if that helps, as far as I'm aware I have not installed any 3rd party codecs - as I usually use VLC for local video playback on this machine.

If it happens immediately after clicking "..."-button and 64-bit Windows: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=80216 (workaround is to paste the file path and not use "..." if you don't want to hunt for the buggy extension..)

thats more like it.
additionally you can now map some keys to the following values: VIDEOGRAB_RESTART VIDEOGRAB_PAUSE VIDEOGRAB_PREV VIDEOGRAB_NEXT this will control the virtual vcr - whether this will work, depends on the windows codec for the video file. |

it was possible in Preferences tool on workbench 1.3? #1) when using Preferences 1.3 on my Workbench 3.1, i can re-position the screen. after a reboot, i can see, the position snaps back, from what i setup with preferences tool. this really annoys me. any help here? Many times advertising agencies and stuff depict a product in the best aesthetic sense. Oftentimes in a fake scene. Not necessarily how it actually works in the real world.
