Trouble loading Alien Breed

Hi everyone,

I am new to the Amiga Emulator and am having some trouble getting Alien Breed to work. I have started it all up, it works til it asks for the second disk. After that it doesnt really do anything.

Any help with this would be great.

What I meant was I already changed the disk but it doesn't load any further after. When looking at the bottom it looks like its doing something but never actually comes up with anything.

I've just tried the game. After inserting disk 2 you have to press the left mouse button.

I don't know what it is but I have just inserted disk 2 and pressed the left mouse button and still nothing, it just stays with the disk request 2 image up.

Any further ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You are ejecting the first disk and putting the second disk into DF0 aren't you?? I don't think this game works with any external disk drives.

Are you sure that:
1. The disk you have is not broken
2. The disk you have is the second disk of Alien Breed?

I've tested this using the original IPF version of Alien Breed which can't be zoned. You can legally download the files here:

I'm deffienetly sure I have both disk one and disk two, however, I will try different disks in case they are broken, as I have tried everything else suggested and still not getting past the request for disk 2 image.

It takes some time when loading T17 games. How long do you wait?

Download the IPF version from the website I provided the link to. This is the original disks and they work fine for me.

I have downloaded it then it asked for the sps plugin, so I downloaded that as well, but there must be something I'm doing or not doing as the case maybe becuase it's getting to the same point then not doing anything.

Does anyone have msn, so they can talk me through how to use it?
