WHDownload not updated

Whenever I don't own an original set of gamedisks, I've often used WHDownload to get both WHDLoad installers and games in one pack, but the WHDownload site are not really getting updated.. No 2012 updates at all, even though the WHDLoad teams are working hard and creating new fixes and installers pretty frequently..

What do you guys do?

Have a look on the EAB File Server in the folder 'Commodore_Amiga/Retroplay/WHDLoad_Updates'.

WHDLoad updates - wouldn't this be the same installfiles as found on WHDLoad.de ?

I was hoping to find game+installfiles as packs?
Or merely hear what you guys do if you don't own original gamefiles, as an alternative to downloading ADF's, copying to floppies, and installing then to hd...

Those are alsp preinstalled versions like the ones that you can find on WHDownload.com

But it seems people recommend to use FileZilla? I will try this instead.

I see no directory listing with this link, I think you *must* use a FTP-program. And yes FileZilla does the job fine

EDIT: dropping "index.php" and using just http://eab.whdownload.com/ works...

Do you see the directory listing after login? I don't, I must put "eab.whdownload.com" in the address bar...

If a game is not found at the EAB File Server, is Whdownload.com then the only other place to look?

I've been playing a Dsposable Hero version from 2006, but it crashes sometimes, and there's not anyting to be found at the EAB File Server....

Yes, pretty much. Murakami offers some preinstalled games too. Can't remember more sources. But you can always install the games, if any is not available preinstalled, by yourself. The KGWHD errors thread is outdated. If you want a fix you should check the Mantis error list for a specific game. But if you particular error wasn't reported yet, make a new one.

For Disposable Hero: If it crashes you could try older WHDLoad versions. I've completed the game 2-3 times without errors. But ages ago.
