WinUAE boot from command line

I never used any program command line like MAME or DOSBox so I'm a completely ignorant in that.I don't know if I need a different version of WinUAE.I don't know where is the Windows program or WinUAE program to type these command lines and finally I want to boot WinUAE with disable harddrive safety check parameter.

Please,Anyone can explain all this to me as if I were a kid?thank you very much!

PD:I know use WinUAE GUI well at least

You need to click on 'Run...' on the start menu. Have a look here : http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.c...id=1723&page=2
Hope that helps to get you started

or you can make .bat files (just make empty .txt file, open, type your command in it, save, and rename .txt to .bat), .bat file is very similar to Amiga startup-sequence file

As the two above answers seem to be missing one thing:
You don't need another program, the maine winuae executable accept command line parameters.

This includes the possibility to load config files and boot directly into those. So you can edit a config file to do what you want and boot directly into it with command lines.

Just add "-disablehardrivesafetycheck" to the Windows shortcut properties, after "C:/Program Files/WinUAE/winuae.exe".

So it will look like: "C:/Program Files/WinUAE/winuae.exe" -disablehardrivesafetycheck

If running Vista, you need to check "Run as Administrator" (also in shortcut properties) so that you get a UAC prompt when WinUAE starts.

Steve.
