Simultaneous Keys
Hi,
I have noticed that you can't press more than 2 keys at once when using UAE! This makes it very hard to move diagonally whilst pressing the Fire button in Sensible Soccer! Another example is Stunt Car Racer, where, if I have the fire button pressed (to use Turbo Boost), I can't steer the car! So in that case, I guess only 1 simultaneous key press is allowed. Any thoughts? Many thanks |

Could be caused by crap keyboard that does not support multiple simultaneous keypresses. This is not too uncommon.

Lol, lets not pretend Kick off is better than Sensi here ;-) Good thought Toni - I am using my iBook keyboard, so I might do a bit of research into that. Yes, I admit I am using EUAE rather than WinUAE, but since they are both built around the same code, I hoped you guys could still help.
I see this problemwith both the Num Pad keys, and the "Arrow keys and Enter" combination. Earlier, I mapped my joystick to a the arrow keys (I can't get native joystick support to work), and had the same problem with Stunt Car Racer, though i haven't tried sensible yet. Any way round this. Many thanks guys |

How do I make custom key configurations in WinUAE? I can only find the preinstalled configurations, but I'm almost certain I'm overlooking something...

I'm having a deja vu ... But Toni, I'd be cautious with the term "crap keyboard". I see a certain probability that because of different architecture, there exists no PC keyboard at all which has the TRUE flexibility of a real Amiga keyboard, i. e. there will probably never exist a PC keyboard which is able to support *FULL* Sonix 4-voice "keyboard piano". Prove me wrong if you guys like. Last edited by andreas; 15 November 2005 at 22:08. |
