I use the A1200-numpad-fixed version of PT 2.3D from aminet.net, works like a charm. If you don't have AGA, you will like the faster directory-loading largely due to lores graphics.

Protracker 3.15 works and is in Hires, and has some special situations where it saves some time (I think I was doing something either with the sample editor window or the file window open, and I didn't have to go out, do it, and open the window again. I could be wrong.) The one I got from Aminet (there are two around, one won't work on A500) has some bugs on accelerated Amigas, one being that when you edit the name of a module or sample or such and delete a character, a random character is sucked in at the end of the filename.

Long story short, PT2.3D is it I do keep 3.15 around for when I need its features. People that only need a version to work on a single Amiga model may use later versions, but I need versions that will work on all my rigs.

Ask Jope No really, most scene musicians today use this version (if they use PT). That's what I meant

I use PT3.62 with Year 2000 fix on my A1240 AGA. While using it works very fine. The only bad thing is that I get some LONG READ from 00000000 at startup what makes the system after quit PT instable. A reset solve this problem.
