Could load the game etc.

Just an assign and it's working

There's "generic" WHDLoad version mentioned here. It's without music, but works.

I'd like to test this game, but I cannot configure a CD32 joypad mapped on the keyboard in Winuae for the life of me... I suck with emulators!

What do you mean; it's very simple as you can just set "CD32 pad":

Keys / buttons are then:

Note: this is when "Keyboard Layout B" is set. If you connect / use your controller e.g Xbox 360 then it will map buttons for you to the controller buttons.

I tried that first, but maybe the cd image I have is broken or so because there's no input at all?

Non-patched/cracked Candy Puzzle checks CD32 NVRAM contents and ignores game controller input if it does not detect correct data (simple copy protection check). Unfortunately there is no original NVRAM dump available.

Ok, silly question time so apologies if you've already tried these.

Firstly, you cannot just use any images straight from MAME; these need to be patched to work on the Amiga. Search for jarre's images on the Amiga File Server.

At the DIP switch screen, <Left Mouse Button> exits.

When the game starts, "CD32 FFW" inserts coin.

Player 1 start = <Joystick Button 1> in Port 2
Player 2 start = <Right Mouse Button> in Port 1

Edit: I see Toni also replied whilst I was typing.

Thank you all for the tips, will check later!

EDIT:

No luck... it seems there's just one version on ftp and it's not working... well, thanks anyway!

Ok, considering I'm a nice guy and now have a killer fast internet connection

Look here: ftp://grandis.nu/~Uploads/DamienD/Cubo%20CD32/

You'll need WinRAR 5.50 or greater to extract.

As for jarre's patched Cubo CD32 images... see this thread: CUBO CD32 Games..

...and this post: http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...&postcount=428

They should also still be on the Amiga File Server: http://grandis.nu/eabsearch/search.p...de=&limit=1000

Edit: Hmmm, they all used to be here but can no longer find them after the FTP cleanup:

I renamed your "CD32" directory to "Cubo CD32" and moved it here:

/Commodore_Amiga/CD/Cubo CD32
They shouldn't have been deleted as nothing dodgy in the images.

I still have the patched files on my HD (both games). I can upload them somewhere or dropbox them if someone needs them

no but I think I know how to patch the images. I can create patched images at will.

There are 3 or 4 games missing though off jarre's list; after the FTP cleanup

Hopefully brolly or someone else still have them all and can reupload? Would be a real shame to loose all that work...
