devpac 3.5

hi all,

im trying to setup back my 1200 to do some dev on it but i cant found devpac 3.5 anywhere

I searched ebay and various website to buy it, also searched some place to get the disk but without luck (the file on planetemu seems incomplete...)

If anyone can help !

I believe DevPac is on the EAB file server...

There's always vasm which is free, has a devpac compatibility mode, has more optimizations and is currently developed but is slower and has no integrated editor or debugger...

There never was a 3.5 version - I believe the latest version to be 3.18.

Devpac 3.50 (french ?) in the zone, but I never used it myself. Tell me if something is missing. I've also some 3.02 or 2.0 disk images. Btw, french shouldn't be the biggest problem for you, zeGouky ?

For all others:

It's important that the system language must be set to french or the DevpacInstaller script would reject the install disk and will quit!

Of course, you can edit the script and replace the word "français" by "english" or "deutsch" or whatever or change your locale prefs.

im tring to install devpac 3.5, but i get an error saying "You don't have the legal version of A.D.F.I.'s hisoft devpac 3.50"

any idea ?

Yes, that's why I've written post #7, see above, please.
During the installation the language must be french or exactly "français".
Are you not living in France ??

But usually, when you start with the install disk and just double-click the DevpacInstaller icon, it will load the installer from the extras disk and then read the tooltypes, like LANGUAGE=français, on the install disk. This works here.

Yes indeed, it really needs the french catalog file for the installer to work !!

SYS:Locale/Catalogs/français/sys/installer.catalog must exist!

Devpac 3.50 is the very latest release with 68060 support, and Monam version 3.07 68060 compatible.
