Eek patching kickstart from image file

I A2000(KS2.04). And have an image of kickstart 3.1 (WinUAE format- it works fine with the emulator, heh). Amiga has full 68030/50 - MMU (GVP-combo). I tried softkick, setcpu etc. for loading the kickstart 3.1 (3.0) using the image file... but amiga just hangs and cant reboot. Is it possible that these images are taken from A4000 and requiring AGA or 68040 ? Where does lie the problem ? Btw, I also tried a KS1.3 image (WinUAE) , and amiga also hangs up... cant reboot.

Most Kickstart 3.1 Images on the Net are taken from A1200 and therefore won´t load on A2000 ..... you need a Kick 3.1 from A500/600/2000 to do softkicking on your A2000 !
