favourite games list

The reason I would like to know your favourite games, is because I want to try new games and I've got no clue what to get anymore. Also I only know the games that I got. So a new perspective on things will help. (I read the 1990 thread - and D-Generation was a good recommendation)
List as many as you want - and hopefully I won't have them.
The only criteria I could think of, is that I'm not that keen on Adventure games... that said - I did enjoy a few of em. so if their classic - post em.

A good place to start would be Freakyweakywoos "best of the year" polls, to see how we all voted. You've got enough to be getting on with in the years 1987-1990, I guess sometime soon we'll have a 1991 poll.

One of the reasons I started the Hall of Fame polls was to discover great games that I would otherwise have missed. Thanks to the polls I discovered Hybris and many other games I wouldnt normaly of known about. Yes 1991 will be comming soon

I have about a week long nomination period to give everyone the chance to nominate the games that will go into the poll. So the answer is anyone who want to.

I'll be opening the nominations for the 1991 Hall of Fame poll early next week, so you will get a chance to join in.

i don't think that the purpose you state really fits with the actual polls: your polls are really great and suits Moebius' request fine, but thinking about it, the games listed there can hardly be missed by people looking at the scene.
maybe there is place for a Year' Most Hideous Game
