EAB/Lemon Super League 2009: Round 6 - MegaBall 4

Starts: 00:01 June 7
Finishes: 23:59 June 27

Rules

Post screenshots of your scores in this thread, and write your score underneath. You can enter as many times as you like within the round's time frame.

The game's default board set must be used (file name is mb40.bds).

No cheating of any kind (including score leeching) - this includes save states. No continues allowed. If you suspect a contestant of cheating then don't post it in public (anyone who does so will have their posts edited or deleted) - please PM me, Biscuit or mihcael and we will investigate it. If we find anyone guilty of cheating then they will be banned for the entire season.

Please only post your score on either the EAB or Lemon forums. If you have already played this year you have to post your score on the same forum for the whole season. If you are new, the one you post on first will be your "team" for the whole season. However you are welcome to discuss the compo, game etc. on the other forum if you wish.

Remember, anyone can join in at any time. Have fun and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Preinstalled version is available on the EAB file server (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=43633) in the folder ELSL
There seems to be no IAM screen in this version TF

Yup, making a booting HDF isn't something for day one I guess, so I thought it might be useful for the gamers here

I am having a problem getting either versions to work properly. Instead of letting me click to continue or click to start a new game, its acting like I am clicking all the time. When the game starts, it fades in and fades out almost immediately and keeps looping like that, fade in then fade out.

I am using WinUAE, CWB setup(a1200,2chip, 16 fast).

Use the version on the EAB file server then. Choose the expanded A1200 quickstart, mount the HDF and play

I must be an idiot. When i do just that it says this is not a bootable image. I'm using 1.4.3 in winuae, does that make a difference? Do I need to install anything? Sorry for the newbile question. Oh and when you say mount, you don't mean using a virtual hdd like daemon tools?

Select the quickstart, go to the 'Hard drives' window, click on 'Add hardfile...', click the '...' on the right side of path, select the HDF file, click 'Ok' and then 'Start'. Should also work on 1.4.3

Thank You, Ambassador (:

Megaball - The game that wants you to fail. I don't know if I like it or hate it. Its like reverse arkanoid - how many death pickups can there be in one game? 109?

How can I set the default board? I can't find any information about it and I don't know if I am playing correct board.

Ha Megaball! I just wished it had 256 pixels in height. I played Megaball 2 and 3 extensively in the 90's even adapted music from games, like Microcosm because it had only 3 channels also.

It was a good return to play this version.
