EAB/Lemon Super League 2014: Round 3 Game Vote
EAB/Lemon Super League 2014: Round 3 Game Vote Starts: 00:01 February 9 Finishes: 23:59 february 22 Rules Full rules are here. Vote for five games. Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt. Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. Edited votes will be discounted (unless told otherwise) so think before you post. Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon. If a game comes in ECS and AGA versions, please state your preference in your vote. In the event the versions differ gameplay-wise, the version with most votes will be played. ECS is the default if you don't specify. The winners of Round 2 have double voting power for Round 3. (1 = 10 points, 2 = 8 points etc). However, because the voting for the next round ends before the current round ends, players must place their votes and wait for the current round to end to see who will have their vote doubled. If one person wins both games in Round 2 their vote is trebled. Tactical or nosey voters can see the Lemon voting thread here. The following games have already been played, so you cannot vote for them: 2014 Season R01: Crazy Cars III R02: Superfrog R02: Pang 2013 Season R01: Test Drive II: The Duel R02: All Terrain Racing R03: The New Zealand Story R04: Downfall R04: BabeAnoid R05: Speedball 2 R06: Arcade Pool R07: Risky Woods R08: Arkanoid R08: GeeBee Air Rally R09: IK+ R10: Pinball Fantasies R11: Snow Bros R12: Disposable Hero R12: Dogs Of War R13: No Second Prize R14: Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 2012 Season R01: James Pond 2: Codename RoboCod R02: The Chaos Engine R03: Sensible Golf R04: Alien Bash 2 R04: Cybernetix R05: Buggy Boy R06: Deluxe Galaga R07: Bubble Bobble R08: Dyna Blaster R08: R-Type II R09: Silkworm R10: Stunt Car Racer R11: Gem'X R12: Turrican 3 R12: Twintris R13: Walker R14: Sensible World Of Soccer 96/97 2011 Season R01: Dune II R02: Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge R03: Magic Pockets R04: Llamatron R04: Alien Fish Finger R05: Pinball Dreams R06: Pang R07: Vroom R08: Ruff 'n' Tumble R08: Zeewolf R09: Superfrog R10: Turrican II R11: Indy Heat R12: Xenon 2: Megablast R12: Yo! I think its fair to say that Leander AND Agony are a potential issue because both appear on the moderators score issues (i.e. 'Least Wanted') list. Here it is.
Games Where score leeching is possible.... Agony - Ist Boss(others too) Season 3 Rd 1 Battle Squadron - Level Repitition Season 3 Rd 4 Leander - infinitely respawning enemies Leander/EAB. New Zealand Story - infinitely respawning enemies Season 2 Rd 1 Rodland - score leech Season 3 Rd 5 X-out - 2nd Level Boss. Super Comp Rd 10 |

There is no issue with voting for these games. People just need to be aware when we play them these issues do exist.

Agony is jut like Project X and Unreal. Collect everything + shoot everything + key positioning = win, else you die. Its a very difficult game, and even the dedicated player will struggle massively to get beyond level 3. Leander is very easy and anyone with two hours to spare can get through it.

Voting is now over and here's how things stand...
1. Klax - 26 2. Agony - 18 3. Hybris - 17 4. Stunt Car Racer TNT - 16 5. Volfied - 14 Total votes: 17 - Total games voted for: 41 Klax is the strong favourite but with two double votes up for grabs potentially it could still change yet. |

The final results for round two mean there's no change and Klax will be played in round three.
