Yeah, indeed that was a terrible desktop - I remember a friends dad years and years ago had a laptop that ran Windows 3.x and I had a go on it and got immediately frustrated, smugly remarking to my friend that it didn't have a hope of ever matching Workbench... seems like Microsoft have arguably more than made up for it since, though...

They caught me. Browsing in Windows 3.1 is not too slow without flash, java and of course in 640x480 with 256 colors.

In this day and age, Win98 should be slagged. If you connect to the internet with it, prepare for and prepare to deserve what you get.

I refuse to believe that's not people in VMWare sessions set up for gaming, though. Flat out refuse.
