MakeCD image converter

Hi!

I would be glad if someone would tell me, if there is any application
available for MakCD image to "general" .ISO-file converter..
So, I'd like to convert an MakeCD image file to an image file readable by
most common pc cd burning software, mainly Nero package..
Is there any ..?

Hmmm, after a bit of Googling I found these (though they seem to be for OS4):

http://os4depot.net/index.php?functi...ol/mdf2iso.lha

http://it.aminet.net/disk/misc/b5i2iso_aos4.readme

http://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/cdi2iso_aos4

I'm not sure if MagicISO will help:

http://www.magiciso.com/

What file extension are MakeCD images BTW?

Edit: something interesting in the MagicISO FAQs:

Quote:
Can MagicISO edit non-standard ISO image files?

Yes, MagicISO can intelligently analysis any image format. MagicISO can process all possible CD/DVD image formats so far and can also convert these CD/DVD image formats to standard ISO format.

LOL

There's also this thread on EAB which talks about creating .ISO files using MakeCD

Such a tool is integrated into AmigaOS: it is called "Rename".

You can even avoid the need of Rename if you choose a file name ending in ".iso" for your image files right from the start.

MakeCD can make standard IS09660 as well as modified one that preserved amiga file comment. So just make an iso using makeCD, then plug your amiga hardrive on your PC, copy the .iso using Winuae and then burn it on your pc... or put your CD burner on your amiga and burn the MakeCD iso directly on your amiga
As you couldn't read amiga file comment on pc, i recommend to use a tool such as GT to save filecomment into a text file.
gt dir all lfmt="%-080.080P %-080.080c %2" UFID dgen >ram:txt
