Question [Found: Granny's Garden] Yet Another Game Search Help Request

Hello, first time forum poster here! Just like some of the other threads I've seen here, I have a help request for a particular game I played in the early 90's. I'll do my best to describe it...

I know little about this game these days, because it was actually a game I played at primary school (ages 5 to 12 here in New Zealand, for those who don't know) on their Amiga 500 collection. So, my details on the game are but a few pieces.

First thing I vaguely remember the game being about is that you had to find some lost kids, or something like that. Each child had names of people taken from the Bible (I think). One of them was a girl named Esther (the only name I remember out of all of them). There may have been a forest involved in some of the places you looked.

It wasn't like most games back then. Usually you control a character in games, but not this one. It was basically following instructions given through various texts displayed at the bottom of the screen. There were graphics in the game, by the way.

So yeah. I did say I knew very little about the game. I'm hoping it's enough for somebody to help me out. Thanks in advance if you can!

Not having much luck, sadly. Kinda wish I had the game myself back then. Would be so much easier to remember than just playing it in school.

As soon as I read the words "I played at primary school" one game immediately sprang to mind.

Granny's Garden

The game I'm looking for probably has a title like that (or not...), but sadly it's not the one. But I'm very grateful though.

Hard to say really, since there isn't many screenshots. The ones that are there don't seem familiar to me. I tried Googling it as well.

Perhaps I could try it in an emulator to make sure...

Hi Duckman,

you can find it on the EAB file server (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=43633) in the folder 'TOSEC/Educational/[ADF]'.

Hello again.

After downloading the game, trying it out, researching YouTube walkthroughs, referring them to my old classmates, it looks like Granny's Garden is the game I was looking for.

Thank you all for your help! It's taken me about 16 years to remember the name, lol.

Heh knew it had to be Granny's Garden

I never even knew it existed on the Amiga at first, most of the UK guys here would have played it on the BBC Micro, imagine my shock when I found it on ebay, I watched that auction like a hawk.
