Did they really never had to pay anything to H.R. Giger or the producers of the Alien-movies?

The craft looks like the Amiga-sprite in the Turrican II-shmup levels. Nice.

No, I mean it has the same shape. Of course it looks more "16bitty" on the Amiga...

And humbleworm confirmed it.

Btw., the sprite in the Amiga-version of Katakis looks completely different. Are the level layouts the same?

Nevermind, the game is glitchy. 4th level boss is interesting and perhaps a bit unpredictable.

I may try and fit a game of this in after my evening out - haven't really had the time to give the EMPL a proper go but would like to start rectifying that situation

Yeah I also have a job (and it even pays taxes!), but it was sunday yesterday
I use CCS64, its very simple (within 10 minutes I got it all sorted out and Im not very geeky person) Katakis freezes on it often, but I guess the disk we are supposed to use is a bit buggy

aye, setting controls took me 9 of the 10 minutes mentioned. dunno about joypads, but I think I have to follow john's advice and buy myself one for emulation
what emulator do you use? if its CCS64 Ill take a look at the configurations when I am home, maybe Ill be able to help

I think its about emulation - imagine somebody who never had A500 and compare his chances for loading game on a real gear and on winuae
