WHDLoad fails to start up
hello,
I wanted to "update" the unregistered version of WHDLoad, that shipped with AMigaOS 4.1FE Classic system. First I just copied the newer WHDLoad file over to "C" directory (before, I renamed the existing one) and started up "RunInUAE", then double.-clicked on a game... a window comes up, then disappears quickly. WB says something like "Attempting to run C whdload" - but nothing happens... Then I run the WHDLoad installer, accepted everything by just "proceed" and finished install. even after rebooting, I still get the issue "Attempting to run C whdload" What is broken, here and how to fix this? Would be nice, to have the games running once again. I run AmigaOs4.1FE Update1 with 512MB ZorroII in FS-UAE Emulator, if that helps?! |
