Hi guys,
I have one extra fully assembled TF328 that uses the mouser chips. If anybody would like to buy it off me please pm me. You can have it at cost - I will use the cash to order some experimental rams from UTSource. |

So now that these are flying out to users, let me ask a few clarifying questions about the board.
Clock jumper : enables/disables the board? External power: to provide power to an IDE device that doesn't get it from the 2.5" connector? There's another jumper there below the RAM CPLD. What is it for? The bottom-left pin array is for JTAGing, right? I guess we can update the firmware if there are improvements, a guide would be cool if there isn't one already (Haven't checked the TerribleFire thread enough). Excited about this!!! Thanks supaduper and alenppc for getting these out already, and of course plasmab for all the work put on these, getting more RAM working, making PCBs for people to get etc. etc.! |

The clock jumper doesn't disable the board at present. But I'll sort that with a firmware trick.
The other jumper is for an NMI button but I have not tried to use it yet. Its not really a priority. Its just a contact closure to the muxcpld. Everything else is labelled Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

@kipper i have personally tested 50 boards in a CD32 inserted "blank" as you did... not one failure to boot.
When you ordered did you select 6/6 as the process? |

Just being nosey Steve, does that test signal and power integrity ? so a failure to launch means board is duff ?

Yeah I know "External power" is clearly labelled, but I was asking, in which case should we use it? Because 44 pin IDE devices get power from the IDE header.
As for firmware upgrades, what do we need to be able to do them? Would this work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/401277022937 |

Although to be fair, if your card is already working, you have 0 reason to change its firmware. It will most likely only be needed to address different RAM chips compatibility. |

OK thanks for all clarifications!
I would most definitely want to upgrade the firmware if disabling by jumper is to be implemented! I really want this feature, I thought it was in already. Don't fancy unplugging and plugging the board or riser a lot. |
