Yep, it works great installed to HDD!
Now to try inserting licence info/files to the ISO with HitLice to make it a bootable CD PZ. |

Glad you got it working with HD Advance! I thought that HitLice worked only with Playstation (PSone) CDs. Please let me know if it works with the PS2Amiga CD, as I'd be very interested in anything that makes this boot without disc swap trickery. Good luck. |

Free MC Boot with ESR patching might work, I don't think anybody has tried it with this particular disc yet. |

I've found these links: http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials...all_guide.html http://psx-scene.com/forums/freevast...-releases.html and downloaded the suggested files. Are these the best places to look, do you know? (Just found them with a quick Google search. ) I'll let you know how I get on... |

The PS2Amiga v1.0 archive is now available once more from the AmigaMuseum site, where it was first uploaded in 2005.
http://amigamuseum.emu-france.com/news.htm Though this information alone will not be of much interest to users of this forum, since the CD image is now also available on Magix's FTP, with any luck it might also signal that development has restarted on this project. Let us hope that the long-awaited v2.0 is soon to be released! prowler |

I have PS2 and found this thread few days ago! What an idiot
It looks great, I can play not only Amiga games but SNES, Genesis, cool! I must get Swap Magic to run it. Question: cd32 games work? I suppose negative answer but I must ask |

For the answer to this, you will need to look at the changelog for the PS2 port of the UAE emulator (the PS2Amiga UAE emulator version is 0.8.25-20040302). You'll have to Google for a link. Sorry, I don't have one to hand. prowler |

Hi guys,
Got to this from the link on - free mcboot (ps2) amiga. Anyone manage to create a ESR patched ISO that will boot? I read that PS2 games on CD have to be converted and burnt to DVD to make them work. Similar sort of arrangement to this? I don't think my old PS2 can take much more of the plastic tool slide trick without breaking :-) |

Managed to do it.
I followed 'how to convert PS2 CD games to DVD for ESR' guides. When moving from CD to DVD some people say the files/image has to be bigger than a CD, so I created a 2GB dummy file an added that to my image. I created my ISO image, ESR patched it then burnt the ISO at x3 speed to DVD. Booted up my PS2 and put the disc in and it booted fine via ESR! Although Sensible Soccer was kind of slow |

I am into that kind of stuff since a few weeks. SNES emulation is fine, Genesis on the other hand a bit lacking. Oh, and ZX emulation
is good to go for some old school speccy goodness. Good news! Meanwhile you guys can take advantage of the C64 emulator for the PS2. Used to be available only to owners of a PS2 bearing a mod chip, which my soft modded fatty doesn't. Most conveniently IMHO, these emus can be setup from a USB flash drive, then anyone's free to create as many ISOs as required to have them pop up from the USB Games submenu (from OPL aka Open PS2 Loader).
