In any case, since you think (whole animations of) 16x16 pixels are trivial, I'm sure you will happily create replacement graphics for the game... |

But man... few copy-paste don't make you cheater. Ok, I've taken careful look at the screen shot's I've gathered, and yes. You're right (and I was wrong). It was a complete rip of of the Capcom game character. Boring character? Yes. Un-unique character? Yes. But it was rip off. Complete rip off. I had impression it was somewhat just inspired by it. I apologize. |

Only a fool would take graphics from a Capcom game and try to sell it for any reason. For global heat problem, for UNICEF or for what ever reason that was extremely stupid. Even if it was free he would have been bashed for being a lamer.
The Amiga has a long history of creativity, people used to create worlds and new things with it, and that legacy can't accept all this and the current state of the Amiga scene. |

On the 23rd of June Amiten posts on Facebook:...these are besides the Capcom sprites used for the main character in the game. Amiten has a history of doing stuff like this; read kikems post about the The Last Star Fighter. Last edited by DamienD; 03 January 2019 at 10:08. |

What about Shakespeare? Isn't he invented the true form of love and despair? What about all movies that copied that same principle (ideas)? What about Shakespeare itself that copied all those stuff from writers he reads? What about new testimony? Old testimony? There's a million writers copying all that is written in Bible. What about Coby Brant? Are we going to sue him, if he dunk like Michael Jordan? I am all for protection... but man... this gone to far, and make no sense at all, to me. |

in a legal sense britelite is right
everything is copyrighted of course that includes assets. Taking something from web from unsafe sources is highly risky even if you do not ask for money. So better license something from authors and legal sources even if you have to pay for it. |

haha. Not the answer I was looking for. I wanted someone to say "Sensible Soccer?" The I would say "Wrong! The left screenshot is football glory and the right is Sensible Soccer". And go on to explain that "Croteam got away with stealing Sensible soccers pixel art style cashing in on its success. They were not stopped and went on to use the profits they achieved immorally to create the Serious Sam series and let the creators live a life luxury with the the bigger fortunes they gained from the ever growing video game industry."
I dont actually know where I was going with this but there is a point somewhere in there ^^ |
