![]() A question then: I have the ZX Spectrum IPF archive, but it's missing 3-4 titles. Is there someone having the full archive? Maybe it could be put on the server, too... ![]() |

I see what you mean but that will probably not happen in the foreseeable future. There are a lot of systems in the background for logging transfers to keep the anonymous FTP user and HTTP downloaders in check. Having to add a 3rd way to download files would mean a 3rd way to log and import/process even more data.
Also, IMO, rsync would be used to sync the whole FTP by a lot of people and is harder to moderate in that sense. I'm sure there are plenty of "sync only what I miss" software out there using FTP.. There is no reason for anyone to try to sync the whole server but, by God, do people try. |

The roms are not numbered like you've listed them either. My set does not include any of the games you've listed. Although i collect many more, theres 4 systems in my life that i am most keen to collect. PET, Vectrex, ZX Spectrum and Amiga. So extending my Speccy set would be great (even though its nearing 96,000 roms now). |

![]() The games (ZX Spectrum +3 disks) are official IPFs done by the SPS team: http://www.softpres.org/games. I found them all on a website some time ago (maybe on Internet Archive, https://archive.org) but 3 files are missing (the ones I listed). Maybe they are not available (yet). |

Just uploaded some files of C64 to my folder but i had to compress whole catalogs becuse some scripts blocking direct upload and also there's a problem with some files names.
Someone with better access rights can unpack it and maybe find out what to do with file names. |

Any error message you get when trying to upload helps. But I'll have a look as well.
Unless you hit the precheck I do to help uphold the upload rules. If so, the error would be "This filename is blocked or copyrighted and not allowed to be uploaded (<filename>)." Code:
BANNED="^Thumbs.db$|^Emplant\ |^Super-Card Ami|^Super Parameters Golden Oldies\ |^V-Max Nibbler\ |^Fusion\ v|^PCx\ v1.1\ |^Top\ Secret\ Stuff\ |^A-Term\ |^Graphic\ Label\ Maker|^Kracker\ Pack|^X-Rated\ Game\ |^New\ Error\ Logger\ |^Super-Card v6|^NIB\ v2.0\ &\ Super-Card\ Ami|^SuperAmiCard.lha$" Considering the number of files I'd have to unpack and do a test upload of to come to the above conclusion, I'll just pretend that it WAS the issue and you just got around the check script by zipping it =) If it was something else, let me know the error message you get on what files. Disclaimer: The script is not a rule enforcer really. Its just to help those that upload whole TOSEC sets so that it skips the copyrighted stuff automatically. Just finished upload. Below one of examples. It seems FTP don't like UNICODE characters. As i said before i got also errors something like " script blocked upload access denied". Last edited by rygar; 16 February 2023 at 08:02. |

I had no problems uploading that file with FlashFXP.
Check /~Uploads/turranius/ Perhaps get a different FTP client =) Also works fine with FileZilla. If you also get Script blocked errors, that is probably because you tried to upload copyright material as I wrote about. I've enabled logging on that script now so I can see if it happens again. |

Only problem right now is that it contains copyrighted files which are specifically named in the NEVER EVER upload rules.
I've moved the files so they are not visible for the moment. |
