It's ok though isn't it? Not horrendous and gives you the idea of the game, which is the point really.

There's jumping, swinging the weapon and an enemy...

Of course it's not going to win the coveted "Game Screenshot of the Year" award but

I mean, don't forget that I was taking 2300 title / screenshots in about a 1.5 month period (after Toni implemented the "boxart" feature, see here, but shame all my hosted images were lost) so didn't really have time to play / find the best possible situations / moments to capture

...this is why when I scroll through the complete game list every now and then; which takes ages as I'm sure you know; and notice something that could be improved upon, then I do it

For a game I thought was a very good one. It possibly deserves something more then a screenshot 2 seconds in the game.

Just my opinion though mate. Up to you

#19 & #22 Look good in hol

Yeah they do

...but how long would it take me to get to that position to capture the moment.

I guess I could always ask my friends over at HOL for non-watermarked screenshots. It's been done previously as it would have taken me just too long to get anything decent i.e:
  • Campaign - Tactical & Strategic War Simulation
  • Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict
  • Castles
  • Legion

HOL have kindly provided me with some non-watermarked screenshots and I've now resized appropriately:

... ...

I'll let you pick which one I should use

...others are welcome to comment though.

To be honest, I was going with either the 3rd or 2nd one... and you say the 3rd

...anyone else want to comment before I make the absolute final decision?

That third one looks like there's a problem with the emulation

How do you mean, the weapon is not fully blue / outlined like the 1st and 2nd screenshots in post #2084?

Yeah, that slightly annoyed me too... guess it was taken at the end of the "weapon launching" sequence.

...I know from experience, there's usually a split second between the perfect or only a good screenshot

3rd, is good
1st is 2nd preference
2nd is last preference (too weak)

I've just taken a look at how the Axe weapon's frames occur.

As opposed to all other weapons; the Axe's "instant shot" is not fully blue / outlined when launching:

For what little it's worth, I prefer the first one. For me, it looks the best, because the status bar (score, lives, etc) looks less different to the rest, and the same for the overscan colour compared to the game colours. The second one doesn't have enough contrast, and the 3rd one, the overscan colour stands out too much. But that's just my humble opinion.

For me 1'st is the best also. It shows better game climate. But let The Boss decide

Ok guys, I see what you're saying with the 3rd screenshot...

It has to be the 1st one then

So, please just extract the attached into "C:\WinUAE".

Definitely the third- have to go with th- dang, missed it

Only kidding, first shot is fine. I kind of wish the third shot had the overscan colo(u)r of the other two then that really would have been best.

Noticed that when I took screenshots of Breathless and Project Battlefield I hadn't increased the window size to the maximum

Also, best to change to a 68030 CPU for performance if above so...

I also adjusted to a 68030 CPU for Project Intercalaris.

So please just do the following:
  • Download the attached archives.
  • Extract into "C:\WinUAE".
