I can only imagine how satisfying it must be to do something like this for an A500, with this framerate.
Fantastic! |

Great work. Really enjoyable to play, definitely on course to be superior to the official conversion. Keep going when you have the time and enthusiasm.

Only watched the zzbylu video and I am disappointed...
Disappointed to have so many things pending that I will not be able to test it quickly. It looks simply great. Well done ! |

Looks awesome. Played a lot of the OG port back in the day, so this one is a must for me.

Can someone upload the demo into the zone? This looks so good, and I'd really love to try it, but both links from indieretronews no longer work.

Hey all.
Magnus has uploaded a new version of the Demo, check the link below! https://filetransfer.io/data-package/YPGUxXOr#link It is practically the same with the previous version, except for a couple bug fixes and some tweaks on trademark related stuff. To be specific, all Taito references have been removed and replaced with the current IP owners: Tatsujin (ex employees of Toaplan, developers of the original arcade). You can imagine this change didn't happen in a vacuum (of course). Without spoiling the beans, it is safe to say is that the project is now fully secured without the fear of it being striken down in the future |

So this project got the IP owner's blessings? Amazing!

Just gave it a quick go and it seems to work well, except the screen position jumps when going to the loading screen, and the plane's shadow is flickering in-game.
It doesn't appear so, it specifically says it is "not endorsed by Tatsujin". |

This is normal. In the arcade, plane shadows also flicker to make them pseudo transparent. Otherwise they would be opaque black. |
