Amige Emulator Pro
Hello everyone,
I need someone to help me work my amiga emluator, and get it working to the best it can i have downloaded some emulator called WinUAE1610 i dont know if that is the right name i was told this is the best one around at the moment. I also have downloaded a rom called north_&_south_(1989)(infogrames) but i can't seem to figuare out how to get the emluator working anyone got any ideas? |

Ok i have downloaded the emluator that they use and i have set it up to there settings but i am still not getting my rom to work i'm not sure how to start a rom the right way either.
The file i have downloaded is a ADF file but from what i understand that is ment to be disk image? |

Yes, an ADF is a disk image with the game on it. You'll also need a kickstart rom. Once you have that just follow the second step of the guide : http://guide.abime.net/gguides/winuaea.htm

kickstart rom where do i find that? Because when i downloaded this rom there was only 1 file in the folder

You need the kickstart rom and we aren't allowed to tell you where you can find it as per forum rules. Should be hint enough I guess

Yes, for North & South you need kickstart 1.3.

The emulator's can be fiddly just a case of messing with the various settings, ie rom, display etc
