Admittedly the version I had was a cracked copy. Perhaps it was some sort of bootleg, but I'm not sure how likely this would be?

I have just downloaded and ran the CD32 version of Pinball Illusions. Still no Vikings table.

I had Dreams and Fantasies special edition boxset and there was no Vikings table on that one.
More so, theres no way they could include Vikings and still be on only 4 disks. |

No offense, but I believe in the story of Vikings table in Amiga version just like I would believe in my colleagues words saying that he had Pinball Fantasies special edition which had an extro on fourth disk...

What, you mean like the version of Maniac Mansion where you can use the chainsaw? Since nobody said that he have seen a Amiga version with the table when the conversion request came up, I would also say that it's not unlikely that Napalm-ned confuses the PC version with the Amiga one.

Pinball Illusions only includes three tables, were there initially any plans for making 4 tables? I don't really remember the exact reason. We did include four tables on the PlayStation and Saturn versions however. It's possible that we got limited to four disks on the Amiga. The final table is called "The Vikings". |

yes, it was not included in the Amiga version... From Dice.se (developer):
Pinball Illusions is an Commodore Amiga and MS-DOS computer game from 1995 developed by Digital Illusions CE, as a sequel of Pinball Fantasies and Pinball Dreams. The original Amiga release featured three tables - the PC CD version added a fourth, 'The Vikings'. This was the first version of the series to feature more than 1 ball in play at a time (known as 'multiball'), and the first to be released for AGA based Amigas. The game also marks it's nationality as a Swedish product in The Vikings table. |

Has anyone compared the data for the tables on the PC and Amiga tables to see how similar they may/may not be?
If they are closely related then maybe the PC table can be ported over! |

Problem is that the data for the Vikings table is inside the 47 MB exe for the PC CD-Rom version. If anyone wants to have a look I could upload it to the EAB file server.
