Having more than one is good I suppose, as it stops the first getting lonely (just won a second )

Maybe the question should be 'How convenient is it to have more than one Amiga set up at home?' Maybe it should even be 'cozy'...

I'm using a 3000 and 4000 on a TFT VGA monitor through a switch, along with my macbook pro on the DVI interface. They're just stacked up on top of each other... Quite compact.
My 500+, 1000, 2000 and 600 are set up on a switchbox into a 1942 monitor, though this will change to a LCD TV/VGA monitor soon... These are all on a cheap ikea computer table, so again it's quite compact. |

i have an A1200 tower and a standard A1200, i find it really useful for spares and diagnostics, also very handy when one dies and i need to get drivers to it (i can get them from the PC to the miggy and change the ADF to a real disk very useful)
P.S thanks to Twizzle for my spare miggy! Cheers, JuvUK |

I myself own 3 miggies :
- My old A500 with Ram expansion for testing purposes (currently stored) - An old stock A1200 for spare parts - My fully upgraded A1200 for everyday's use : A1200 + 4 go CF (no noise) + Blizzard '30+ Indy FF/scanDBL along with a 15' TFt which enbled me to get rid of the 1083 screen. For convenience purposes I added A CD drive through the IDEfix Express, a PCMCIA CF reader and a netgear MA 401 Wifi card for internet browsing (mostly aminet though). My PC and the 1200 are also linked through the serial port. This way, one plugged amiga is enough, fully compatible with games and fast enough (or nearly) for high-end apps. Yet, as most of you guys, one is never enough and I would make space for an A4000 without any problem! Pichamelu |

Ohh, a Quickshot Q-138F. I've always wanted one of those. Does it use micro or leaf switches?

Not very convenient I'd say.
I only like to have my A1200 fully prep'd for action I used to collect computers so my room was full of old garbage, but I Started selling my stuff like a year ago. No crazy wife here, I just think collecting anything is not worth it. I'm only keeping one of each of my favourite platforms. |
