each time i read your name it rings a bell into my heart... a bell from the past, for all the time i've spend playing to Psygnosis game with music you've composed and games from the same period.
You doesn't seems to have an "elite" mind and it's for your honor. You seems to be a retro lover, this game is a proof as well as your site.

Thanks for sharing your passion

PS : sorry for being a bit off topic

Great game Ray. And by the way, your Blood Money and Killing Game Show tunes certainly belong to the greatest Amiga music category. Ever.

Thanks for the comments guys!

For your information, there's a couple of things in the pipeline at the moment. First, I'm remaking Carrier Command (one of my favourite games ever) now that I`ve got enough grip on DirectX, and also, I am working with an interesting band to produce some remakes of my old amiga stuff (lyrics 'n all!)

I don't know if this DIGG thing will work very well (apparently it can generate huge amounts of traffic if you can get onto the front news page)

You will of course have spent many an evening playing the game inside out and won, and know all the various aspects of the game

I haven`t paid too much thought to the planning yet, but I would want to expand the game in certain areas: more vehicles, more AI on the islands etc. Why not have a think about some ideas for expansion?

The first things I will be working on will be the geo system (terrain, water, weather etc.) so it will be quite a while before the gameplay gets coded.

Modelling is starting shortly, with most early effort going into a splendid carrier.

Sorry, not been around for a while.

I decided to do something smaller than CC first (especially after seeing how other people are getting on remaking that one) and decided to get some practice in with 3D by making a remake of I, Robot (the first solid 3D arcade game)

That's one of my most treasured arcade games EVER and I spent a fortune playing it.

Do it justice, man, or I'll hunt you down and call you names.

Man, you RULE.

I am certainly interested in seeing (or beta testing) this CC remake.
I love that game.
The most difficult part in making (and rebuilding) a game is to create (or rebuild) the urge to keep playing. Bear this in mind (although I bet you are much more experienced in the area than me who is giving the advice).

You said other people attempted that remake? Where?

yes found it, but the current link for this project is:

I hope your version won't be for when our children grow up (as this guy in the link probably intends to)...

At first I was thinking... So just anyone can try and get diggs here but ah... The creator of the Blood Money tune isn't "just anyone." I used to load that game just to watch the intro.. (Though I did like the game, too..)

The biggest question is: where is the money? Yeah! Yeah!

Heh.
