That type of comment isn't worth dirt and kind of ticks me off.
These comments are reasons why AMIGA doesn't push forward.

You could say the same thing about any non-expanded AMIGA.

PPC isn't 68k, and the graphics cards sure as hell aint OCS/ECS/AGA.

From Graphics options to CPU upgrades, irrelivent. It's a non event.
Look at what ARM has brought to the table.
Just no

Yes, yes I understand you want 68k and it's at this point i'd have to ask WHY?
What does 68K possibly offer that's so much better than any other offerings you can find right now? Even Software has moved on. AMIGA needs a modern browser, just for starters.

68K is not being made anymore, or develped in anything but FPGA and even then, that's questionable.... Move on.
68K is not the AMIGA saviour, it needs to be ported away from these dead-end architectures.

Vampire and PiStorm should be seen as FINALLY a way to be a stepping stone away from 68K.

Now that we are in a more mature stage of the proof-of-concept, we are inquiring within Amiga/Apollo community if there is enough genuine interest to bring this project to a next level. Based on the outcome of this inquiry we will make roadmap decisions, including target platforms.

Which platform(s) do you use and would you be interested in a game like Robin Hood Legend of Sherwood for your Amiga?

thank you for your answer,

I'm using a 1200 with pistorm and OS 3.2.

AFAIK Gunnar worked on a port to Morphos (for free) back in the day so the code changed hands via the contractors that worked on the various game iterations.

No intent to sell it or release it to public as an executable file without the correct agreements in place. To get a publishing deal in place they first want to ensure it actually runs on 68k in a useable way.

Does this make sense?

While I don't think it is anyone's business but the actual copyright holder's to complain about the current port, I'd say that having a useable port before negotiating a license would probably make licensing more expensive because your interest in getting a license will have increased due to the work you already put into the port.

In any case I'm pretty impressed with the progress you have made, the game looks very nice and enjoyable.
